Steve Drury (FCIOB) Director of Rooff has been asked to join the CIOB Employer Engagement Committee, which looks to strengthen and further connections between the institute and employers within the construction sector. The committee’s work also includes overseeing the programme to increase the number of Chartered Building Companies and Chartered Building Consultancy’s as well as extending the role of Training Partnerships.
A strategic objective of the CIOB is to raise the profile of the professionalism of the sector, linked to increasing the visibility of professional careers within construction, in order to appeal to a wider range of talented people and attract them towards a career in the sector.
