Alexandra Palace
Haringey, N22
DESCRIPTION
Rooff are pleased to announce that we will be working at Alexandra Palace on their latest project – the preservation and restoration of the North East Office building. This first phase of work is funded by a grant from Historic England’s Repair Grants for Heritage at Risk scheme. Located in the east wing of the building, the long-term ambition for the North East Offices is to reimagine the spaces for the benefit of the charity’s communities. Works include the complete removal of the existing rotten roof and associated timber structure. Decayed brickwork and timber work will be restored or replaced, and a new roof structure and covering will be installed. The historic roof lanterns will be removed and stored for future restoration. We are looking forward to working with the Palace project team on this exciting restoration scheme.
