Rooff Construction is delighted to be back at Building Crafts College in Stratford, delivering a project that will expand and enhance the College‘s teaching facilities for future generations of construction professionals.

The project is particularly significant for Rooff, having originally constructed the College‘s purpose-built training centre for The Worshipful Company of Carpenters. More than a decade later, we are proud to return to the campus to support its continued growth and investment in specialist construction skills training. 

The works will provide additional workshop and teaching accommodation, helping the College meet increasing demand for practical skills education across disciplines including site carpentry, joinery and stonemasonry. The scheme has been carefully designed to maximise the use of the existing building while delivering additional floor space through a highly efficient construction approach.

Timber plays a central role in the project and will remain visible throughout the completed extension, celebrating the craftsmanship and construction skills that sit at the heart of the College‘s teaching. Environmental upgrades, including enhanced ventilation, solar-gain reduction measures and cooling systems, will also improve comfort for students and staff throughout the year.

With completion planned ahead of the new academic year, we are proud to be building on our longstanding relationship with Building Crafts College and contributing to the development of the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
