DESCRIPTION

Rooff have been awarded the main contract for this exciting new training facility for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and we are extremely delighted to be involved in the project for the charity. The existing guide dog training centre in Redbridge had become outdated as the current facilitates limit the number and type of services Guide Dogs can offer there. This project involves the construction of a completely new modern training centre that will allow Guide Dogs to offer more of its services and increase the number of people they support at the site.

The new facilities, include an indoor training area and fully covered outdoor training zone, creating an improved training environment for the dogs and staff.

Sustainability is a key focus of the new centre, aligning with Guide Dogs’ zero carbon ambitions. The building will feature low-energy LED light fittings, solar panels, rainwater harvesting and electric vehicle charging points.
