Rooff Supporting National Apprenticeship Week

This week 4-8th March marks National Apprenticeship Week which is celebrated across the UK. Over the last 50 years Rooff has employed and trained over 450 craft and management apprentices.  We are always keen to encourage young people into the industry through apprenticeships and this week we will be participating in a number of events.

Rooff Director, Steve Drury will be attending ‘Inspiration Day’ at our local Barking and Dagenham College on Wednesday and on Thursday will be at the TFL Apprenticeship Fair.  Both events are in association with the London Region Construction Training Group (LRCTG). Our Marketing & Social Value Coordinator, Lucy Dunne has been invited by the Construction Youth Trust to be on the panel of a “Not Just For Boys” Q&A. Lucy will not only be talking about apprenticeships but will also be promoting other careers available in the construction industry for women.
