This award winning scheme has won yet another award. Walthamstow Wetlands was awarded a Brick Award for the high quality of conservation detail and bricklaying execution carried out on this refurbishment project by Rooff.
The architects (Witherford Watson Mann) specified a number of different bricks to compliment the existing brickwork and the surrounding areas. The new chimney (swift tower) consisted of a brown brindle brick that contrasted perfectly with the existing building fabric. For this highly skilled work we employed brickwork specialists, Global Brickwork and AES Construction Services, to help restore this wonderful building back to its former glory.
