We are incredibly proud to see A House and Garden at Fairmead, constructed by Rooff and designed by Sergison Bates Architects, recognised with both a RIBA East Award 2026 and RIBA National Award 2026, as well as being shortlisted for the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize 2026.
Located on the edge of Epping Forest, the project is a beautifully considered new home designed in response to its sensitive rural setting. The house combines carefully proportioned spaces and natural materials with a strong focus on environmental performance.
We are delighted to have played our part in delivering such a special project and congratulate Sergison Bates architects, the Rooff project team and all the designers on this fantastic recognition.
