Blackheath High School Topping Out Ceremony

We recently organised a Topping Out ceremony at Blackheath High School. Parents and Governors were accompanied on a safe site tour finishing on the top floor of the new wing where a steel beam was lowered onto the highest point of the building by a tower crane. Pupils were absolutely delighted to sign the beam, as they knew their names would forever be a part of the very fabric of their school.

Rooff recently secured this project, involving the construction of a new Art/Music wing, a new three-storey main entrance building and exhibition space between the two blocks. We have also constructed a new library which has been sunk into the new lower ground floor under the current site, a new courtyard providing additional social space, enlarged sports storage; new changing facilities, fitness suite and an enlarged dining area.
