Two high quality architectural projects completed for Brentwood School with very high levels of building craftsmanship.
A new 100% social housing development of 29 units built directly for Thurrock Council under a two stage design and build contract and completed whilst accommodating Covid19 operational procedures.
Two significant Heritage Restoration and Refurbishment projects completed for St John at Hackney Church and St Peters in the Forest, Walthamstow. We became a Corporate Sponsor of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB).
Rooff’s development side of the business are working with Sergison Bates Architects on two exciting rural locations in Essex, to develop high quality architecturally considered family homes.
Practical on the ground and financial support for our local East London community.
Continued long term investment in the training of young people as part of the Rooff Training Academy.
Continued support and encouragement for staff to look after their Mental Health and Wellbeing through the Lighthouse Construction Charity workshops and MIND.
We welcome the Hive Enterprise Hub (Barking Roding Riverside) to our commercial premises at the Ice House Quarter, providing subsidised affordable creative business space and mentoring support for local entrepreneurs.
We have continued to expand our social value delivery through various business networking groups during Covid, helping support SME supply chain engagement linked to skills, training and employment opportunities. East London Business Place (ELBP), London Region Construction Training Group (LRCTG), Barking & Dagenham Construction Advisory Group (LBBD CAG).
We are delighted to have secured a healthy future pipeline of work for 2021, across a range of exciting residential, education and heritage related projects. This will help keep our staff, workforce and valued supply chain active and busy.
The adoption and implementation of Fieldview software across all of our sites, to further improve our quality systems and to secure the ‘golden thread’ of information, has been a major investment in technology and training, which will assist with scheme quality and specification compliance.
