Rooff are proud to announce that we are now Company Supporters of The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity. The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families.
A crucial element of the charity’s strategy is to provide a wide range of free and widely available pro-active resources to support the industry.
The charity provides a 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline which provides a range of free and confidential support, which is complemented by their free Self Support App. Their free text HARDHAT to 85258 service provides yet another route to support, along with their Lighthouse Beacons who offer a safe space for people to share concerns. Their latest campaign; Help Inside the Hard Hat aims to raise awareness of mental health issues in the construction industry.
As part of our company’s mental health and wellbeing strategy we are giving all our staff the opportunity to complete a Mental Health Course through the charity who offers a range of courses. Rooff are committed to promoting better mental health and wellbeing for all staff, and the past few years has highlighted the importance of looking out for each other. This must remain at the forefront of what we do and why we are so pleased to become Company Supporters of The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, and support them in their mission to reduce construction industry suicides and improve workforce welfare and wellbeing.
