Rooff were delighted to be part of the placing of The Skinners’ Hall Time Capsule inside the medieval Walbrook Culvert, within Walbrook House. The event was attended by Rooff Directors and Site Management staff as well as the Master Skinner and Beadle Houseman.
A few items placed within the time capsule include photographs of the team members of the project as well as the Skinners’ Company Employees and Court Members of 2023. A project timeline was included as well as a USB stick containing electronic copies of everything in the time capsule and the virtual tour of Skinners’ Hall prior to the redevelopment. An explanation of who Mr David Beale was and his part in the project was also included. Mr David Beale born in 1913 and died in 1968 paid for part of the project through his benefaction. A facemask was also included to highlight and reflect upon the COVID-19 Pandemic. A copy of the Skinners’ Company annual report for 2022 as well as a copy of the Skinners’ 2022-2023 diary were also placed in the time capsule alongside menu cards from past dinners.
