Mental Health Awareness Week 10th – 16th May 2021

As a company Rooff are on a mission to support the mental health and wellbeing of all of our staff. We are pleased to announce that Rooff now has four trained Mental Health First Aiders. Well done to Finance Director Tom Ekers and Operations Director Gan Hirani who successfully completed their training last week. They will work alongside our other Mental Health First Aiders, Business Development Manager Claire Bullen and Chief Buyer Lauren Coles to offer support and promote better mental health and wellbeing for our staff.

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week staff have been encouraged to participate in virtual Wellbeing Workshops that are being run by the Lighthouse Charity. The Lighthouse Charity provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families.

‘Rooff are committed to promoting better mental health and wellbeing for all staff, and it is a journey we want everyone to be a part of as we develop as a business, strengthen as a team and flourish as individuals. This past year has exerted extraordinary pressures on everyone, and the focus that Mental Health Awareness week brings, with the need to look our for each other, must remain at the forefront of all that we do.’ Mark Horn, Rooff Managing Director.
