Work is progressing nicely at Walthamstow Wetlands, which includes a complete refurbishment of the Marine Engine Pump House, and conservation work to the Copper Mill Tower as well as extensive external works. We started extensive refurbishment work on this locally listed Victorian Building earlier this year, which will convert the Marine Engine Pump House into a new Visitor’s Centre for the reservoirs.
The completed building will consist of a new mezzanine floor, external spiral staircase and a new kitchen extension and a fantastic new viewing platform. Alterations to the existing building include new openings at the base of the tower which opens up this magnificent building.
