Rooff welcomed Tadiwa Taimu from CIOB’s Sub-Saharan Africa Tomorrow’s Leaders to our Skinners’ Hall project, for a personal site tour whilst she was here in London for CIOB business. The visit was arranged by Rooff Director, Steve Drury, Fellow of the CIOB, and guided by Assistant Site Manager, Callum. Joining the tour was new apprentice Ronnie and Graduate QS, Nithya.
The scheme, now in its final stages, provided Tadiwa with an illuminating insight into historic building refurbishment and restoration. This was Tadiwa’s first visit to London and she had never been inside a building like this before. This was also a first for Ronnie, who was amazed at the wide range of different crafts taking place in one building.
We really hope Tadiwa enjoyed her visit and will be seeking to remain in contact with her through Steve’s local CIOB Chelmsford Hub.
